Our business got started because we wanted a better vanilla extract for cooking. We tried many of the "specialty" brands of extract and found that they contained sweeteners and colorings. We also noticed that most tasted the same, no matter who we bought them from. We found out why as we did more research. It seems that there are only a few companies that manufacture vanilla extract in America. Then that extract is sold out to a majority of other companies including many of the "specialty brands." 

So we decided to make our own vanilla extract. The main rule of our extract would be and still is No Additives, period. No Sugar, No Sweeteners, No Coloring, No Thickeners, No Syrups, No Fillers.... nothing but Vanilla Beans, Alcohol and pure Water.

We gave some of our extracts to family and friends as gifts and they loved it. Soon, we were asked for more and what started as a way of making our own food taste better, became a business.
